In and around Columbia, SC - here are my park haiku!
The stars on each map indicate where I took my inspiration. I researched Granby and learned some stuff about county history!
Granby, named after
a duke, first town in county,
now a stone quarry
Seven Oaks dip roots
Deeply in a Crooked Creek,
Providing cool shade
I know this is a little off topic. But I was visiting the Grolier Club in NYC and saw an amazing spatial poetry exhibit. If you are in NYC between 7/19 and 7/26 check it out. The library’s also quite interesting. Happy Weekend!
